Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS)

EMA has designed its processes and procedures to present performance results in compliance with the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS®). These standards were created by the CFA Institute to provide an ethical framework for the calculation and presentation of the investment performance history of an investment management firm. GIPS standards are voluntary and are based on the fundamental principles of full disclosure and fair representation of performance results. Investment results that comply with the GIPS standards provide the best opportunity for a fair evaluation of an investment firm’s past performance.

Efficient Market Advisors claims compliance with the Global Investment Performance Standards and has been independently verified. While verification does not ensure the accuracy of any specific composite presentation, compliance with the GIPS standards demonstrates EMA’s commitment to ethical best practices and strong internal controls.
